Ellen has lived near the coast in two great states -California and Hawaii. They have some of the most spactacular coastlines . With so much inspiration available it is easy to spend hours watching the incoming waves at different times of day and night.

When Spring arrives it brings with it newness of life as the bulbs and roots work their way up into leaf and flower.  Roses, lilies, and irises are just a few of the touchs of heaven that grow in my garden.  Then there's all the delicious fruits and vegetables that are fun to paint, too.
